Right now, there is a coffee pods clearance sale and a coffee beans discount day going on. Both coffee pods and coffee beans are known for making great coffee, but which one should you be buying?
From my experience, it depends on the individual coffee pods and coffee beans. You can see coffee bean comparisons online, as not all coffee beans are of the same type. This means that they can give off different flavours and different textures, so make sure you pick wisely.
From my experience, it is better to use coffee pods. While coffee beans are more authentic and you can make your own mix and blend, it’s still effectivly measuring out the coffee and if done wrong your coffee doesn’t come out how you wanted it. On the other hand, coffee pods come pre packed with the exact amount of each coffee you need. This means you know how your coffee is going to taste every day as it is all pre measuresed and packed.
In coffee pods you have a misture of instant coffee and fresh or expired coffee beans. The fresh coffee beans give it that extra special flavour, but the instant coffee speeds up the process a bit. They’re also super easy to use, you simply load the pod into your coffee machines and press the on switch.
With coffee beans, you can either add them straight to your coffee or espresso maker or you can grind them using a coffee grinder. The first of these two options is the easier, as grinding coffee is not olnly time consuming, but you also have to still make the coffee after that (Usually manually, I’m guessing if you don’t add it straight to the coffee machine you don’t have one).
I recommend using coffee pods, but if you prefer them use coffee beans.
